Leave the busy highways and crowded attractions behind on the Country Roads Excursion, a guided adventure through the rural heart of Lancaster County, PA. Take the wheel of your own open-air Smart Cabrio and follow miles of winding backroads through rolling farmland, wide-open countryside and the unforgettable scenery of Pennsylvania Dutch Country.
Your experienced local guide will lead you through the farmland surrounding Bird-in-Hand and Intercourse, sharing the stories, culture and traditions that make Lancaster County so remarkable. We seek out the quieter roads and lesser-known places most visitors drive right past, while occasionally including a well-known Lancaster attraction that has earned its place on the route.
The stops are part of the adventure. You might discover a tucked-away country shop, watch a local craftsperson at work, meet the people behind a family business or get a taste of a Pennsylvania Dutch favorite. The route and experiences can change, so you never know what delicious treat, fascinating demonstration or unexpected encounter may be waiting around the next bend.
With horse and buggies, working Amish farms, one-room schoolhouses and surprises along the way, no two Country Roads Excursions are exactly alike. If you're searching for an Amish Country tour, a scenic Lancaster County drive or one of the most unique things to do in Lancaster, PA, this is your chance to experience the backroads, flavors and hidden treasures of Amish Country in a way you'll never forget.
